BEUK represents right’s holders at International Law Enforcement training events. This enables us to call to action as many Police, Customs and (exclusively in the UK) Trading Standards Officers to detect suspect infringements of our client’s products.
In order to do this we require extensive product identification training and guidance and a selection of both counterfeit and genuine product samples for comparison purposes. At each event we ensure that a sole employee is dedicated to reaching as many officers as possible that are in attendance and conduct presentations in front of all delegates when required.
BEUK also coordinates and conducts private training sessions in specified locations, when a counterfeiting issue is extensive in a certain area and meet with the local police or port authority. As the majority of our clients have international anti-counterfeiting strategies in place, we are usually requested to represent numerous brands at one event which allows for cost sharing opportunities.
